Celebrate Fall with These 5 NoCo Events

The season of leaf crunching, pumpkin carving and apple picking is upon us! Northern Colorado has always been home to top-notch events year-round, and fall is no exception. So grab your pumpkin spice latte and head to one of these fun-filled fall events in the area:

 

Swing by Old Town Square for the last Fort Collins music festival of the year! Starting at 11 a.m. and running until 10 p.m., FORTOberfest features numerous local artists, plus food, music, booths and more.

 

  1. Tour de Corgi – Saturday, Sept. 29

If you’re a corgi-lover, this event is a MUST. (And if you’re not a corgi-lover, well…it might be time to get with the program.) Celebrating all things great about our favorite short-legged fluffy friends, Tour de Corgi takes place at Civic Center Park in Fort Collins and runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Get ready for a parade, costume contest, vendor booths and more!

 

  1. Harvest Farm Fall Festival – Sept. 29-Oct. 28

Corn mazes and fall fun go hand in hand. Harvest Farm in Wellington features fall festival fun every weekend from Sept. 29 through Oct. 28. Enjoy a giant corn maze, wagon rides, pig races, petting zoo, barn playhouse, obstacle course, bonfire and much more. Cost of entry is $15 per adult (ages 13+), $13 for children (ages 4-12) and free for children three and under. All proceeds benefit Harvest Farm’s New Life Program, which helps individuals break the cycle of addiction and homelessness.

 

  1. Taste in Timnath Fall Festival & 5K – Saturday, Oct. 6

Celebrate fall the Timnath way at the Taste in Timnath Fall Festival & 5K. The event starts with the Scarecrow 5K Fun Run through the Timnath countryside at 9 a.m., benefiting the Food Bank for Larimer County. Following the race, all of northern Colorado is invited to attend the festival in downtown Timnath on Main Street. Enjoy free kids’ activities, live music from the Tallgrass Band and Chris Daniels & the Kings, authentic German cuisine and beer pairings, and much more.

 

  1. Tiny Tot Halloween – Wednesday, Oct. 31

Don’t miss out on this annual family Halloween celebration! From 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Old Town Square, tykes of all ages will be sporting their costumes and trick-or-treating in downtown Fort Collins.
