This month, meet Cliff Cook – the Senior Automotive Technician of Houska Automotive!
Q: How many years have you been a team member at Houska Automotive?
A: 16 years!
Q: What position do you fill at Houska, and what duties does this entail?
A: I am the Senior Automotive Technician.
Q: What do you love about your job? What do you love about working for Houska specifically?
A: I love that I am constantly learning new things about a variety of vehicles. My job constantly changes; one minute, I may be working on a classic car, and the next, a Tesla with all of the bells and whistles. There is something gratifying about seeing a vehicle come in with a problem, identify the issue, and successfully fix it, ensuring the customer’s vehicle is back on the road in good condition. Houska provides me with stability that allows me to provide for my family and enjoy a great quality of life.
Q: What accomplishments are you most proud of?
A: I am so proud of my beautiful family.
Q: How would you describe yourself in three words?
A: Honest, hardworking, and smart.
Q: How would you describe Houska in three words?
A: Honest, equal, and fair.
Q: What is your favorite Houska Automotive memory?
A: My favorite Houska memory is all of them! Honestly, I love all of the fun we have at work! Even though we work hard, we have fun and laugh every day!
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A: I love hunting and spending time with my wife and sons.
Q: What do you love about the Northern Colorado community?
A: I love that I can work in Fort Collins and live in a small town; it is the best of both worlds!
Q: What’s something you wish everyone knew about Houska Automotive?
A: I wish everyone knew how much we care about the work we do; we work hard to be the best at what we do, from diesel engines to luxury electric vehicles. We strive to do the best work possible for each and every customer.
