It is never easy hearing about devastating news that affects our community, but when such news is about one of our Houska team members, it strikes an even deeper chord. We are very sad to share that one of our Houska Tire and Oil employees, Tristan Hibbert, was hit by a drunk driver on his motorcycle in December.
Tristan received lifesaving emergency surgery on the night of the accident, followed by a stay in the ICU and a long road of rehabilitation. His family is in need of much love and support during this difficult time. We ask that you please consider making a donation to help offset the cost of rising medical bills.
A GoFundMe page was set up for Tristan that will be directly deposited into the medical expenses account. In addition, donations can be made in person to any Guaranty Bank Colorado location or mailed to:

We are also very excited to announce that we will be hosting a benefit on Saturday, Jan. 19 at our location, 1005 Riverside Ave. The event will run from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and include a silent auction and food for a donation. If you would like to donate an item for the silent auction, please contact Jay Koontz at 970-820-8266. You are also welcomed to visit the Team Tristan Facebook page to contact an admin about volunteer opportunities.
Houska is all about rallying the community to help those in need, and we are so grateful for everyone who has banded together to help out one of our own!
