Basic Maintenance Check List

Welcome to 2022!

Start the new year off right by making sure your vehicle is up-to-date on its basic maintenance.

Oil & Filter

Keeping your oil and oil filter clean is vital for good engine health. Depending on your car and what kind of oil you’re using, you may need to change both the oil & oil filter as much as every 3 months or 3000 miles. Check your vehicle owner’s manual and consult with a professional to be certain what is appropriate for your vehicle.

Tire Rotation & Alignment

Rotating your tires will help to extend the life of your tires by more evenly balancing the tread wear, and helping prevent noise and vibration problems. Make sure your vehicle is properly aligned to help promote an even tread wear and help prevent your vehicle from pulling to the left or right.

Lights

It only takes a minute to check and make sure your lights are working properly, which helps keep everyone on the road safe and helps you avoid getting a ticket. If a bulb is out, take your car to an expert to determine whether it’s the bulb or the fuse that needs replacing.

Battery Check

The battery is one of the most important parts of your car. Without a properly working battery, your vehicle won’t start. Colorado’s extreme temperatures can negatively affect your battery’s performance, so be sure to regularly test it.

Belts & Hoses

Keeping your car’s belts and hoses in good shape can help keep your car running and may help you avoid a breakdown while on the road. Have an expert look at your belts and hoses during your regularly scheduled check-up.
