So, we decided to go “under the hood” to give you a closer, more personal look at the people who make us who we are, in a new quarterly employee spotlight series. Our first employee spotlight might very well be the first person you see when you visit us–Micah Wakeman.
Micah joined Houska in 2017 and is our Advisor on the Front Counter.
What is a typical workday like for you?
A typical workday starts with greeting and checking in customers in the morning. I spend time writing estimates and talking with customers about repairs. Also, discussing priority of repairs for the day.
What do you love most about working at Houska Automotive?
What I love most about Houska is my co-workers. They are a great group of people to work with.
What do you do when you’re not working?
Golfing and skiing.
What is your dream vehicle, and why?
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport–because it’s fast!
What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen “under the hood” of a customer’s vehicle?
Our technician opened a car hood and a live rabbit jumped out of it after the car was driven to our shop.
What’s an unexpected fun fact about you?
I am really good at crossing one eye at a time.
