In case you haven’t heard … the TOADally Kids Garage Band event on July 14 was TOADally amazing! With the help of many wonderful sponsors and volunteers, we were able to raise $24,000 for Project Smile, ChildSafe, Super Hero Underwear, and Coats & Boots. These are all charities that assist children in northern Colorado.
You can check out these pictures to see for yourself, but everyone had a blast. The kids loved getting their faces painted and then jumping on the giant car-themed bounce house before grabbing another hotdog. Parents were able to mingle with each other, beer in hand, and peruse the silent auction. And the live auction featured not one, but TWO wagons full of high quality wine!
We enjoyed live music from the Blues DoGS while playing giant jenga, musical chairs, and munching on cotton candy. If you missed the musical chairs game, it was an intense race to not only find a chair, but a scavenger hunt item from someone in the crowd, as well! Kids and adults alike were sprinting through the onlookers, trying to find belts, chapstick, and sunglasses.
