It’s been a big year here at Houska Automotive – because we’re celebrating our 70th anniversary all year long, practically every month has been chock-full of collaborations, community events, and good-old-fashioned celebrating!
Just last month, we had the privilege to host what we consider the culmination of all those 70th Anniversary festivities – that’s right, we’re talking about our 70th Anniversary Garage Band Event!
On September 17th, 2022, we threw the biggest celebration in Houska history. We had been looking forward to this day all year, and it did NOT disappoint! The whole community was invited to enjoy an evening of celebration with us, and we had an absolutely grand time.
We always endeavor to do good for our community, even when we’re throwing a party. For this event, we requested that attendees bring food or monetary donations for the UCHealth Family Medicine Center Food Pantry. Together, we raised over $10,000 in monetary donations, and gathered 1,200 pounds of food! Thank you to everyone who partnered with us!
Clearly, we all had a blast dancing to live music from our special guests, The Burroughs! They truly rocked our parking lot and got everyone up to dance. It was a perfect way to celebrate our 70th with family, friends, and clients (who have become both family and friends)!

City of Fort Collins Council member Shirley Peel was on hand to officially proclaim September 17, 2022 “Houska Automotive Day.” What an absolute honor!
Staff grilled hot dogs and whipped up cotton candy for the kids, while the Tacos El Diablo food truck and a Gelato & aMore gelato cart served the remaining hungry mouths.
We couldn’t possibly feel more grateful for our incredible community. We consider it a privilege and honor to have such wonderful people to celebrate with, and we are so thankful for our community’s partnership with us in supporting the UCHealth Family Medicine Center Food Pantry! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event – the evening was better than we could have ever hoped!
