This month, meet Dennis Houska – the retired former President of Houska Automotive!
Q: How many years have you been a team member at Houska Automotive?
A: Too many! I started when I was 8 years old.
Q: What position do you fill at Houska, and what duties does this entail?
A: I am now retired, but I was the President of Houska Automotive. I started by cleaning the shop!
Q: What do you love about your job? What do you love about working for Houska specifically?
A: I love the customers we work with, and I really do love the other guys and gals on the Houska team!
Q: What accomplishments are you most proud of?
A: It has been amazing to watch the business grow, and to see how it supports our community! We do love giving back.
Q: How would you describe yourself in three words?
A: Retired-but-not-tired, Houska, and community!
Q: What is your favorite Houska Automotive memory?
A: Once, we worked on the Human Cannonball truck–that was memorable! The team has played a lot of practical jokes on one another over the years, and I also loved hosting the Houska Houska 5k.
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A: I love to bike, and I’m passionate about working with the National Bone Marrow Donor Program.
Q: What do you love about the Northern Colorado community?
A: It is such a caring and giving community.
Q: What’s something you wish everyone knew about Houska Automotive?
A: We do so much more than just repair cars – we help solve problems.
