On September 7, friends, neighbors, and families came together to eat, drink, socialize–and most importantly–raise money for Partners Mentoring Youth. The annual Houska Garage Band event was lots of fun and a great success thanks to all who participated. Amidst the festivities and dancing to the fun sounds of The Blues Dogs, over $20,000 was raised for Partners Mentoring Youth! The funds will help the organization’s mission to create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and local youth facing challenges in their personal, social, and academic lives.
Giving back is at the core of the Houska’s business values. The company is not only focused on doing business with the community, but engaging and coming together to better the lives of those in need in our community.
The event would not be possible without the generosity of Houska’s business partners who donated food, drinks and supplies, and the attendees who exemplify the great Fort Collins community.
